I've been here for a little over a month here now
without any kind of break, so it was really good
to be able to relax by the pool at yesterdays poolparty.
Torben was the one who took the initiative and
arranged a BBQ, beer and "dipinthepool"
to celebrate the Aprilclass' Commercial exam, and
my class' first solo. Good job Torben, cause I hadn't
seen beer in over 6 weeks!
I found a frozen steak in the freezer which ended
up on the grill, and I brought a plastic bag of
salad, which we got people to think was sent from
my mom in Norway cause she doesn't thing we have
food here. Some of them still think that was the
case!
After dinner I ripped off my clothes and jumped
into the water.. we were out in the pool for a couple
of hours before Tobias found out that he had to
squirt Ranchdressing into the pool. He figured the
water was so dirty already that "a little"
Ranchdressing wouldn't make much of a difference.
The water got quite disgusting and got a pretty
strong smell of vinegar or whatever is in that ranchdressing.
There was a thunderstorm moving in, so we had to
end it anyways... But it was fun for the time it
lasted!!
First "night out" here in the US.. hopefully
I'll get more time off as soon as the Private phase
is over, which it should be in a month or so!
