TIME IS RUNNING OUT
Written: 01 JUNE 2005

The 14 ATPL exams in Oslo is less than one week away. The first one starts at 5PM on 6 June and the last one ends in the evening of 16 June.

The time has gone by fast since I got back from Aalesund, and I haven't done much more than to read and work. I can't say that I'm ready for the exams, but then on the other hand I don't think I'll ever be ready to say that, so it probably better just to jump into it now and hope for the best! It's going to be so sweet to finish them off!!

I've been a diligent Abacus user, even though I don't believe that it alone will help me through the exams. I found it to be very important to look up everything I'm unsure of, and not just accepting the given answer and try to memorize it. Abacus claims to have over 17 000 questions in their database, but alot of them seem to reoccur, so the real number is probably closer to 10 000. In addition to Abacus I have alot of different feedback from different people (feedback is mostly just questions and answers)

There is alot of interesting material in the ATPL curriculum, but there is also a whole lot of useless information. What is most frustrating is when you find different answers to the same question from different sources. It also happens that there are two identical questions with two different answers. This can of course be fairly confusing.

I'm looking forward to seeing how the questions at the exams are, and if my study technique has worked.
