KJELLER AIRSHOW
Written: 14 MAY 2005

Today Kjeller Air show was arranged at Kjeller Airport. It's an annual small "airshow" organized by Kjeller Aero Center in cooperation with Oslo Flying Club amongst others. To ease my conscience towards the club I volunteered for kiosk duty, and did my part to earn a couple of extra bucks for the club.

The main program was from 12 to 16 with shows preformed by:

  • 6 Saab Safir (formation)
  • Harvard
  • Mustang
  • Yak 52
  • Vampire
  • Dolphin
  • Tiger Moth
  • Dakota
  • F-16

These were just some of the planes that preformed, and many of the displays was great entertainment. In addition there were several who displayed their model airplanes, which was very impressing. 4 of these were jet engined models.

Alot of people showed up for the airshow and the weather stayed good for most of the day. The organizers estimated somewhere between 2 and 3000 visitors, but I think more than that showed up.

And then... pitures:
